סדרה שהחלה מעניין בפעולה הארכיטקטונית של תוספות בנייה, ותוך כדי העבודה נמשכתי אל המקומות שמסקרנים אותי – ההצצה לחצרות ובתים של זרים. תוספות הבנייה מייצגות בעיני רבים מהמאפיינים של החברה הישראלית – לרוב אלה פתרונות ארעיים, לא גמורים אך יצירתיים, שנועדו לפתור בעיה נקודתית ללא תכנון ארוך טווח.
Additions - digital photographs, 2008
In this series I investigated the additions people add to their houses after these are built. These additions are usually required to solve a problem that the original architect did not anticipate, because of changing needs or socio- economic situation. These additions are usually short term ad-hoc solutions to a problem, and generally represent many characteristics of modern Israeli society – temporary, unpolished but creative. I tried to create the illusion that the pictures are images of models similar to those that architects use when planning a house.
